Fallen Spirit

Fallen Spirit

Fallen Spirit

The spirit has fallen flat
The heart has broken into
Finest pieces like a fragile glass
Fallen from thousand feet above
It is now the proverbial camel that
Passes through the eyes of a needle
Greatly difficult to amend again

The grasping cold of emotion
Has come suddenly and quickly
Piercing deeper and deeper
Into murky muddy water
Flood of tears has brought back
The south-west monsoon in the
Valleys of Antarctica

And you said to me
“It can be glued together”
If the veins of your hands
Has been taken away before
The beat of your heart paused
And you have ever lived for nothing
Then you’ll know that the feeble hand
With a companion of spineless heart
Has lost its moulding skill forever
