Be calm

Be Calm

Be Calm

Oh my gentle soul
That has a mighty stride
Why your heart is panting…
Why are you fighting with that
Breath of air sustaining your life

Keep it cool and calm
Do justice to your dear self
For the little time on earth
I learnt that worries allowed
To fill-up mind to the brim
Kills the fantasies of desire and
Murders the thoughts of dreams

Remember that a soul
Devoid of dreams and desires
Is another giant cow in an abattoir of life
Waiting for the mercifulness of the hungry knife of a butcher
Say to your humble soul to ‘Be Calm’
